Guys,any body knows how to find liney job in aussie?any company or place can you recommend,any website,or person to contact,thanks for any help you can share!.....cheers...

bigmack, plenty of options in Aussie. Suggest you decide where you want to live then have a look in that sepcific area.
Melbourne is popular at present with lots of companies still hiring, seems to have dropped of in Perth a little.
Have a look at the companies websites, they usually have jobs listed on them, or keep on eye on the lineman.co.nz jobs page there a few that pop up there now and again.

Anyone out there know of any Companies hiring around the globe for short term contracts, $$$$? Or at least a point of contact?

Looking for a circuit/rotation if there is such a thing out there for Lineys.

You are right on the money G Linework has gone a bit quiet at the moment with layoffs and companies shutting shop which has left local guys looking for work with limited success which will make it harder for overseas guys (thats in Western Australia) As you say though G Melbourne seems to be the go at the moment but I am having a look into heading over into the mining sector which is starting to pick up again...
