Guys

Make sure you get your teams registration in ASAP, only 4 spots booked in the teams event so far, also dont forget the individual comp this year.
Visit the ESITO site for registration details

The title will not be defended by the Siemens Northern team this year!

The comp starts Tuesday 13th October, see you there!
If you'd like to come and chat I'll be one of the judges in the middle of the arena wearing the Electrix overalls
Regular updates on the lineman.co.nz website.

Well another awesome comp, only 7 teams competing this year but the standard was high as usual.
Tenix and Northpower Whangerai cleaned up on the minor prizes that were awarded on Wednesday night.
Congrats to Tenix for winning the lineman.co.nz sponsored knots and splices event, 2nd year in a row.

The finals team announced were Northpower Whangerai, Northpower Hawkes Bay and Tenix Alliance.
This years event was an LV line build with a pillar with 3phase cable attached up the pole, all teams finished the event just

Drum roll, the winners were

1st ~ Northpower Hawkes Bay
2nd ~ Northpower Whangerai
3rd ~ Tenix Allaince

Ross Archer Memorial ~ Paul Tasker, Tenix Alliance

Well done fella's, 3 great teams with competition tight between all three, very hard to judge!

See you all next year!

Big mack sounds exactly like that robo guy that used to comment how nz power construction was the greatest company in the world to work for, even his lack of english and comprehension is strikingly similar.

It was a good comp good to see it getting bigger each year, shame un warranted posts with no facts spoil the spectical that is the National Line Mechanics Competition has become it also destroys the "un-spoken" brother hood between Linemen. How do you think the winners of the 2009 competition would react if they read somthing like that you`ve taken over their topic and severly lowered the tone.
