For anyone interested in hoping the pond from NZ to Aus, there is quite a bit going on in Victoria and ACT!! There are several alliances creating a fair bit of work for Lineys, Electrical Fitters and supervisors. Tenix has quite a few jobs on. I will post some info next week regarding licences and accreditations concerning and transferring them.

For anyone that will find this info handy, there is mutual recognition with the TRA in Australia - the Cert 4 Line Mechanic certification in New Zealand is equivalent to the ESI certification needed in Aus. Tenix has several roles needing hot Stick/glove and barrier in Victoria, but also several roles in Canberra that do not require Hot-stick/Glove and barrier.

For anyone intersted, the salary is approximately $65-72k per annum average (dependant on experience of course) plus superannuation. anyone wanting more info feel free to drop me an email at matthew.murray@tenix.com
